‘GET LIPPY’ ABOUT HIV/AIDS WITH THE BODY SHOP & MTV NEW LIMITED EDITION GUARANA LIP BUTTER
WHILE MANY YOUNG PEOPLE BELIEVE HIV WILL NEVER TOUCH THEIR LIVES, GLOBALLY OVER 40 MILLION PEOPLE LIVE WITH HIV AND AIDS. SHOCKINGLY, HALF OF ALL NEW HIV INFECTIONS ARE AMONG YOUNG ADULTS UNDER 25*.
A decline of awareness surrounding HIV prevention has been a contributing factor for the expanding epidemic in this age group, and the motive behind The Body Shop & MTV ‘Move Your Lips’ campaign and sale of New Limited Edition Guarana Lip Butter (£5.00). At least £2.80 from every Guarana Lip Butter sold goes directly to the Staying Alive Foundation**, Funding HIV awareness and prevention for young people around the world.
Make a difference and ‘Get Lippy’ about HIV/AIDS, the greatest epidemic the world has ever faced – to find out more about the campaign The Body Shop and MTV have created www.moveyourlips.com. The site will give you all the information about the campaign including the chance to watch three versions of the MTV produced campaign advertisement, ‘send a kiss’ to your special someone’s inbox, as well as leave messages about the campaign on a ‘lip love wall’ – for other visitors from around the world to see.
MTV have also created a special ‘Move Your Lips’ campaign game, complete with scoreboard so you can compete with others from around the world. .

**The Staying Alive Foundation is committed to fighting stigma and discrimination and
empowering young people to protect themselves against HIV and AIDS. MTV and
The Body Shop have together raised £430,000 towards the Staying Alive Foundation
to-date. The funding went directly to the Staying Alive Foundation Awards, giving small
grants to 85 young people to mobilise HIV prevention efforts – educating their peers and
