Children on the Edge
Children on the Edge is a dynamic organisation committed to working on behalf of marginalised and vulnerable children; often orphaned or victims of war. Founded in 1990 by Anita Roddick to alleviate the suffering within Romania's orphanages, Children on the Edge have since implemented programmes throughout the world. Its latest project is a child and Community Centre in the Acheh region of Indonesia, where 100 orphaned children and around 1,500 displaced people are being helped to recover from the horrors of the Asian tsunami.

Stop Violence in the Home
Thank you
You’ve helped raise over £160,000 for our Stop Violence in the Home campaign, making a fantastic difference to thousands of children and helping Women’s Aid to provide The Hideout website www.thehideout.co.uk
Our Stop Violence in the Home campaign has been running for over 10 years all over the globe. With your support we have raised over $2 million globally, helped change laws and made domestic violence illegal in Indonesia. And in the UK we have enabled a refuge to create a website for those at risk. This year our campaign is focusing on children.
Around the world today as many as 275 million children live with domestic violence. Their emotional, social and even physical development can be affected, with the cycle often continuing into adulthood. By breaking the silence, raising money and calling for government action, together we can help more children have a brighter future.
The Body Shop will donate all its profits from every Daisy Soap and Hi Shine Lip Treatment bought. These profits go directly towards helping children affected by domestic violence, giving them a happier childhood and a brighter future.

The daisy device is the property of The Body Shop International Plc.
